Multi-tenant Quick Start Guide

What You Need to Know

Organizations and Data Isolation

  • Each organization's data is completely separate from others
  • You can only access data from organizations you're a member of
  • Your organization's data is protected by multiple security layers

User Roles

  1. owner - Organization owner with full access
  2. health_admin - Administrator with user management capabilities
  3. health_clinician - Clinical staff role
  4. health_intake - Intake processing role
  5. health_patient - Patient access role
  6. health_member - Basic member access

Getting Started

  1. Creating an Organization

    • Click "Create Organization" in the dashboard
    • Enter organization name and unique identifier
    • You'll automatically get owner and health_admin roles
    • Your organization space will be created automatically
  2. Inviting Users

    • Go to Organization Settings
    • Click "Invite Users"
    • Enter email and select role
    • User will receive invitation email
  3. Managing Roles

    • Go to Organization Settings > Users
    • Click on user to modify roles
    • Select new role from dropdown
    • Save changes

Security Best Practices

  1. Account Security

    • Use strong passwords
    • Enable two-factor authentication
    • Don't share login credentials
  2. Data Access

    • Only access necessary information
    • Log out when finished
    • Report suspicious activity
  3. Role Management

    • Regularly review user roles
    • Remove access when no longer needed
    • Use appropriate role for each user

Common Issues

  1. Can't Access Data?

    • Verify organization membership
    • Check your role permissions
    • Contact your organization admin
  2. Need More Access?

    • Request role change from admin
    • Provide business justification
    • Wait for approval
